Boxford Celebrates 250!

On July 8, 2026, Boxford will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the first public readings of the Declaration of Independence. Please join us for an evening of history, music, and community as we recreate this extraordinary event. We are hosting a public reading of the Declaration of Independence, an exhibition of “Boxford in the Revolutionary War” and the display of the original Town Meeting book from 1776 at the historic Holyoke-French House, followed by a Patriotic Songbook Sing-Along.

Light refreshments will be served at this festive, free, family event.

In case of inclement weather this event will be moved to the Boxford Community Center, 10 Elm Street
