Upcoming Community Events
North Shore Amateur Astronomy Club
NSAAC meets on the first Friday (except for July) of the month at the handicap-accessible Center at 10 Elm at 10 Elm Street in Boxford, MA 01921. Meetings begin at 7:30 pm with a very short business meeting, then an entertaining presentation on a subject of general interest to the amateur astronomy community begins around 8:00 pm.
Meetings are fun and informative, so come in and see us! You don't need any special equipment or knowledge to have a great time. If you have a telescope we can arrange to help you learn how to use it. If you are thinking of getting one, we can help with that too -- come to a few observing sessions and look through the many kinds of telescopes owned by our members before you shop.
