Author Talk with Sarah Prager
Partnership Event with the Boxford Community Center • 10 Elm Street • Boxford
Sarah Prager is dedicated to raising awareness of LGBTQ+ history through writing, speaking, and other projects. Her first book, Queer, There, and Everywhere, tells the stories of individuals from queer history. CFCE Of The North Shore - Music & Movement For Kids

This is a fun, interactive programs for kids under age 3 and their caregivers, live and in person! Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional behavior, and language in overall literacy. It helps the body and mind work together. Music also helps with fine motor skills. Children who are exposed to music during early development are helped to learn the sounds and meanings of words. 8:30 - Mount Vernon Cemetery Veterans form up and march into cemetery, graves decorated by Veterans and Scouts. Prayer by Chaplain, firing squad - volley, Taps
9:00 - Brookside Cemetery Veterans form up and march into cemetery, graves decorated by Veterans and Scouts. Prayer by Chaplain, firing squad - volley, Taps
9:45 - Second Congregational Church Veterans meet in front of church and march in as a unit as service begins and proceed to designated pews. Remain covered until colors are placed. Uncover with colors bearers. At the designated time at the end of the service, Veterans will reverse the procedure and cover with the color bearers. Follow the colors out in a single file beginning with the front pew and exit the church.
11:15 (approximately) - Placing of wreaths at Civil War Monument Veterans will form up in front of the church and march to Monument Hill. Raising of flag, placing of wreath, prayer, firing squad volley, Taps
Lego Club for Kids
It's our monthly Lego Club for kids entering grades K & Up. We will provide our collection of Legos and a theme to build around, and you do the fun building! Factories is our May theme!
Needle Felted Art:Bluebirds
Join us for an adult craft class with longtime crafter, Rachelle Toth. We will be creating bluebirds using Needle Felted Art, a dry sculpting technique that uses specialized barbed needles.

Wednesday Afternoon Discussion Group
For our May meeting we will be discussing Marjorie Hart's memoir, Summer at Tiffany. In 1945, Marjorie Jacobson and her best friend, Marty Garrett, arrive in New York City fresh from the Kappa house at the University of Iowa, and find summer jobs as pages at Tiffany & Co.
