Join the Boxford Historical Society for an afternoon of music featuring bands “Two of Us” and “The Bordellos.” True North Ale Company will be providing beer and wine, and the Historical Society will be offering non-alcoholic drinks and snacks for purchase. The event starts at 3:30 and music begins at 4:00. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and come unwind on the beautiful lawn of the Holyoke-French House!

Join Mandy Roberge, owner/artist of Wicked Good Henna, a ICNHA certified and insured Henna Artist when she visits the Boxford Town Library!  Mandy will set up shop in Meeting Room #1 to offer henna to program registrants. Mandy says she has been playing with henna since 2006, becoming instantly passionate about the art form.  In 2015 she officially started Wicked Good Henna and shares her craft everywhere she can.  In Spring of 2023, Mandy had the life changing experience of traveling to Morocco to study henna and it changed her style and understanding of the art form. She looks forward to traveling to many more places in her lifetime to examine the roots of henna in cultures around the globe.

Everyone is welcome to join our friendly, informal group.  For our July meeting we will be sharing recipes from Kat Ashmore's two cookbooks, Big Bites Time to Eat and Big Bites.  Kat Ashmore is your go-to girl for all things delicious, nourishing, and satisfying! On July 8, 2026, Boxford will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the first public readings of the Declaration of Independence. Please join us for an evening of history, music, and community as we recreate this extraordinary event. We are hosting a public reading of the Declaration of Independence, an exhibition of “Boxford in the Revolutionary War” and the display of the original Town Meeting book from 1776 at the historic Holyoke-French House, followed by a Patriotic Songbook Sing-Along.

Light refreshments will be served at this festive, free, family event.

In case of inclement weather this event will be moved to the Boxford Community Center, 10 Elm Street
