We are all about COMMUNITY which is why so many of our programs and events are in partnership with other local non-profits! We believe many hands make light work . We know how busy life gets so we will take as much or as little as you can spare. Be a greeter at an event you are already attending or help spread the word about one of our children’s programs on social media…every little bit helps.
Apple Festival
SEPTEMBER 19 • 10 to 3:30 The Boxford Community Center will be at the Apple Festival again this year and we would love your help. We will be raffling off a one-of-a-kind Gift Basket by Boxford’s own Oak and Thyme*
We have the following shifts available: 10 to 12, 12 to 2, and 2 to 3:30 -- bonus points because this includes breakdown!
Children’s Programming

Help plan special children’s events at 10 Elm! Every month we host Fun Family Fridays with puppet workshops, Curious Creatures, STEM events, and more. We also partner with the Boxford Town Library for special events throughout the year. What do you want for your kids at the Community Center? Get involved today to make it happen!

Join us for an afternoon of spooky fun! The Boxford Community Center will once again be hosting a booth on the Candy Trail at this sweet fundraiser for the Boxford PTO. We’ll need volunteers to take a shift handing out candy to all the little ghosts, goblins and demon hunters!
Veterans Day Pancake Breakfast

Please help us honor the brave men and women who have served our country at the second annual Veterans Day Pancake Breakfast at the Center at 10 Elm. Breakfast is served from 9:15 to 10:30. Volunteers are needed for set up, food prep, serving and clean up.

The Community Center is thrilled to, once again, support the Boxford Historical Society on the most magical winter night of the year! The journey begins with heartwarming carols at the Congregational rectory, winding down Elm Street amidst the glow of lighted homes. — one of which is our home in the Historic Cummings House. Make a night of it in the East Village with a children’s craft at 10 Elm, a cup of cheer at Boxford Community Kitchen followed by the dazzling “Grand Illumination” of the Holyoke-French house!

We are SO EXCITED about our newest venture (we think you will be too!) An open-air market on the Pony Field at 10 Elm will bring the community together: shoppers can find fresh produce, artisanal food, handcrafted items and artwork all while supporting local farmers, makers, and small businesses. With live music and kids activities this will be a destination for the whole town. Join us today to help plan this great Boxford event!
